About ElderBrandr
My mom must’ve been pretty thoughtful when she named me Kenneth, which means “sprung from fire.” Paired with a family name like Brandt — meaning “firebrand” or “one who lives where there’s been fire” — it’s fair to say she had a bit of a theme in mind.
Living in my adopted hometown of Burnsville (pun fully intended), Minnesota, it only felt right to name my business after the family legacy: Firebrand. But that name was already taken. So after testing a few variations that didn’t quite spark, I turned to my ancestry research and found inspiration in Old Norse, where Eldr means “fire” and Brandr means “brand” or “torch.” And just like that, EldrBrandr — Firebrand by another name — was born.
It’s a name that fits. Eldr sounds like “Elder,” evoking wisdom gained through experience, while Brandr echoes “brand,” the craft I’ve spent my career shaping and building for countless companies. It all came together naturally — a name with meaning, heritage, and a touch of spark.
Today, I’ve still got that fire in my belly — a drive to work hard and deliver the best branded solutions for my clients. I carry the torch for their brands into new markets, helping them grow, guided by the wisdom earned through years of hands-on experience.
Let me help your company reconnect with its roots, uncover what makes its culture truly unique, and craft a story that captures its spirit — one worth sharing with the world.
