Building a Brand from the Ground Up
Overview
Dakota Aggregates was launched as a joint venture between Ames Construction, Cemstone, and the University of Minnesota. The organization needed a complete brand system—one that could establish immediate credibility, operate confidently within regulated and industrial environments, and scale alongside a complex partnership model.
The brand had to work hard from day one: clear, durable, and flexible enough to serve B2B, regulatory, community, and academic audiences without dilution.
