Revitalizing a Community Tradition with Modern Creative
Overview
The Scott County Fair has long been known as “The Best Five Days of Summer,” but attendance had plateaued and the brand no longer reflected the energy, scale, and investment behind the experience.
With upgraded rides, expanded entertainment, and a renewed focus on the guest experience, the fair needed a revitalized identity and campaign—one bold enough to signal momentum while remaining rooted in a deeply held community tradition.

EldrBrandr's Role
Creative Direction • Campaign Strategy • Brand & Visual Systems
Led the creative vision from brand refresh through campaign rollout—developing a flexible identity and high-impact creative system designed to increase visibility, relevance, and attendance.

The Challenge
The fair’s existing identity lacked cohesion and urgency. It struggled to communicate the scale of new attractions and failed to stand out in an increasingly competitive summer entertainment landscape.
The challenge was to modernize the brand without losing its familiarity—creating work that felt fresh, fun, and unmistakably local.
The Approach
A bold, modular campaign system built to move fast without losing coherence—designed to amplify momentum, adapt across channels, and signal renewal while staying grounded in community tradition.
Campaign Platform
Bigger, Better, Faster, Funner became the creative anchor—capturing the heightened energy of the revitalized fair and setting the tone for all visual, verbal, and motion elements.
Visual Identity Refresh
Refreshed the identity to balance heritage with contemporary impact—introducing a clearer logo system, bold typography optimized for high-traffic environments, and graphic forms inspired by classic fair iconography. The system was designed to scale seamlessly across signage, merchandise, digital, and broadcast while remaining unmistakably local.
Campaign Creative System
A flexible, high-energy creative system designed to scale quickly without sacrificing clarity or cohesion. Bold color, dynamic photography, modular layouts, and motion-driven storytelling worked together to build anticipation and maintain consistency across every channel.
Campaign Rollout
The campaign was built to perform at scale, delivering maximum visibility across a broad mix of channels without fragmenting the brand.
The unified creative system was activated across:
• Large-format outdoor and high-impact print
• Digital, social, and motion-driven placements
• Onsite signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphics
• Event programs, merchandise, and broadcast media
By anchoring every execution to a single creative idea, the rollout maintained clarity and momentum while reinforcing the fair’s renewed energy and contemporary presence at every point of interaction.
